I am a pretty experienced and involved gardener in the summer months, but in Minnesota that means a very short growing season. I have experimented with mid winter grow lights and windowsill growing. I have to say that this hydroponic kit is excellent, especially for the price. For example, I was at a local store that sells a lot of gardening equipment and they had an aerogarden with the same foot print and features for literally twice the cost. I've only started seeds a few days ago, but my lettuce and basil are already sprouting. I have to note that I also use my own cultivated seeds as well, so I will dive updates as to how they work out on this kit.

This garden is basically already installed when you get it. Its very simple to complete the steps to add water and install the plant holders. I do like how tall the light goes on the system, it looks like you could grow a tall vegetable plant like tomatoes with no problem. I did sow a couple seeds of each variety in the plant holders, with soaking them for an hour. I will update with photos of how the seeds sprout. Overall, so far its a very promising purchase! The material also seems durable as well.

I have several other of the more expensive hydroponic units and wanted to see how this compares. So far I find this one to be just as good for significantly less $ investment! One really nice feature is the light unit unplugs completely. This is nice since, as things grow, you do have to clean the base and filter which requires taking everything apart along with growing plants. I especially like how easy it is to set things up. Fill up the base with water and nutrients, get your own seed packets from the garden center, drop a few in the growing pods, and watch them grow. I have read that hydroponics don't transplant to soil well but have not found that to be true so I am planning on transplanting everyone outside next spring and starting a new indoor herb garden. So nice having fresh indoor herbs at arms reach

This system comes with everything that is needed to set up and use besides seeds. I planted Peppermint, Lavender and Rosemary and within a couple of days it was growing and within 30 days they were large enough that they needed replanted. Great set-up for indoor growing.

I am very happy with my purchase. I recently started growing herbs and some vegetables in my apartment and I started seeing small bugs around the plants. I purchased this bug killer and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. Its only been a few weeks but I have not seen any bugs! I use the 12 hour setting and keep it on overnight and it works as advertised. I definitely recommend this product.

I was hoping the product would live up to great ratings, and it actually did. I live in Arizona, and I noticed the mosquitoes are starting to come back already, which is very early. Anyway, I bought this and placed it out in my patio. After running for couple of days or so, I got a good variety including mosquitoes. Very happy. It runs quite, and the product finish has a nice feel to touch.

Since it is not in season, there are a few fruit flies in the house. Yet, in a few hours this machine caught one fly and another one overnight. I am not expecting a lot yet as there are only few flies in the house. I find this machine very effective. It runs a fan and yet its not loud at all. Unlike other fly traps, this is small and elegant looking. It looks more like a Dyson bladeless fan. Perfect for our dining table.

We have various flying insects that manage to get into the house most of the time. This catcher has trapped nearly every type. Small fruit flies, mosquitoes, millers etc. I haven't caught any full sized flies yet but that is because I go after them right away. I don't know if it works for them. It also provides a night light.

I have a ton of house plants and therefore I have a ton of fungus gnats. I got this today and it's only been on for a few hours but it seems to be working! Very easy to set up. It's pretty quiet, but in my studio apartment I can definitely hear it running. I like that's it small, I've seen others that are twice this size. So far so good!
